5 Star ExperienceI arrived at Car Arena on a tuesday to have a look at a couple of vehicles listed on their website, A few had sold but they had an Mercedes c43 that I took a look at & the test drive sealed the deal as it seemed a great car. I was talking to 2 members of staff that I had recently had a pretty terrible buying experience buying a dud car which the engine blew up & it took months to reject the car. They could have easily wrote me off as "that type of customer" but the guys talked me through their warranty details and how its unfortunate when that happens but provided reassurance. I mentioned I could do with the vehicle asap as was leaving for a holiday 2 days later. After checking all relevant things were in place, MOT etc they got the car ready for me to pick up the next day. I've had the vehicle 5 weeks now and have had nothing but smooth driving. Not only was it a great sale with a quick turn around to suit my needs but finally I could breathe when driving again. I feel safe and have a great car to drive and have confidence in the buying experience again. I'd actually realised when I was there I'd purchased from them years before so if I'm in the market for a new vehicle in future I will definitely look at The Car Arena again.

Best dealer and great customer serviceFantastic team at the car arena, no pressure to buy and were more then happy to answer any questions I had and provided me with all the relevant paperwork I needed, the team was friendly and approachable. The dealership was clean with well maintained high end cars. Would recommend to anyone for hassle free buying with a passionate dedicated team.

Absolutely amazing service - HIGHLY recommendedFrom the moment I walked in I was greeted by Owen the main sales person on site. He was knowledgeable and helped me out with all my enquiries. The whole process from start to finish was enjoyable and I cant thank him enough for his support. My new car is exactly what i'd hoped for, if not better. 10/10 I wouldnt shop anywhere else!!!

We visited the Car Arena and fell in love with a beautiful AUDI A3- negative reviews made us nervous to buy, but jordan was so lovely and genuinely kind that we decided to trust him and go for it! It was the best decision and we are so happy with our car that we have had a few months now and is running beautifully. Peter was fantastic and even rang us on his day off to chat through things and sorted paperwork out / a good warranty deal. On pick up day the owner was also lovely, very chatty and helpful. Only downfall, Peter asked the team to valet the car for pickup and they didn’t bother, he tried his best to clean it on the day but they let him / us down. Still awarding 5 stars as overall brilliant experience and beautiful car. Thank you!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place genuinely deserves one. From the moment I arrived, the whole experience felt relaxed and straightforward, no pressure, just honest conversation.What I appreciated most was how transparent everything was. They were upfront about the car, talked me through its history, and didn’t try to gloss over anything. It actually made me trust them more, which is rare when buying a car.The car was in great condition, drove perfectly, and was exactly what I was looking for. The whole process was quick but never rushed, and they made sure everything was sorted properly before I left.Really solid experience all round – I’d happily recommend and use them again.

Dragged their feet and still sold me a faulty car

My experience with this garage was extremely poor, with repeated dishonesty and serious issues with the vehicle.I placed a deposit on a white Vauxhall Grandland X on 24th March and explained I needed it before 30 March. I was assured it would be ready. On 30 March, I was told it would be ready at 3pm, but after multiple calls and delays, I arrived to find the car wasn’t even MOT’d. I requested a refund due to the wasted time but was persuaded to continue with a promise of a 6-month warranty and a confirmed collection date of 3rd April. Despite further assurances, the car still wasn’t ready on collection day. I waited two hours while someone was speeding it in and out of the forecourt rushing to get it cleaned before finally taking it at 4pm.Within two days, the car developed a loud knocking noise. An independent mechanic found a major oil leak, a snapped and rusted coil spring, and a CV joint boot (which failed on the MOT) temporarily fixed with cable ties. I also confirmed that the garage had been informed of the oil leak before sale but chose to ignore it.I returned the car after just one week and requested a full refund. Shak, who sold me the car via the car arena, was initially refusing. He clearly has no idea about the consumer rights act, but I eventually received it. The car was relisted for sale within three days.I strongly recommend having any vehicle from this garage independently inspected before purchase. My only positive is Simon the sales advisor is lovely and tries to go above and beyond for the customers. It's a shame the other guys don't.

Poor communication and lack of transparency

Very poor experience. I asked several basic questions about the car (number of owners, service history, timing chain, overall condition) and received no answers—only replies focused on price and finance.I was also informed of a £199 admin fee that was not clearly stated in the advert, which feels misleading.On top of that, I was told they wouldn’t provide further details about the vehicle until I confirmed the price was acceptable, which is not how a transparent sale should work.Overall, the communication lacked clarity and professionalism. I wouldn’t feel comfortable proceeding based on this experience.
